You receive the optimized file and a short note on what made it heavy. We then delete your file.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there a 50 MB limit in the browser tool?
TinyLottie runs entirely in your browser, and very large animations (usually hundreds of embedded PNG frames) can exceed what a browser tab can hold in memory. This service runs the same kind of optimization on our own computer, where that limit does not apply.
Is my file uploaded or stored?
Unlike the browser tool, this service needs your file. You send us a download link (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar), we process the file on our own computer, and we delete it after delivery. We use it only to fill your order.
What do I get back?
The optimized .json, plus a .lottie version when your player supports dotLottie, and a short note on what made the file heavy. Frame count, timing, dimensions and layers are kept; embedded images are converted to WebP with transparency preserved.
How much smaller will it get?
It depends on the file. Animations made of embedded PNG frames often shrink the most: one 58 MB file became 7 MB. If we can't make your file smaller, we refund the order.
What if my file is bigger than 250 MB?
Email info@tinylottie.com with the file size and we'll tell you whether we can take it and at what price.
Do I need a PRO plan?
No. The service is a separate one-time purchase per file, and PRO plans still cover files up to 50 MB in the browser.
Files under 50 MB? Use the browser optimizer instead.
